Ugadi Utsavalu 2026 - Participation Guidelines
We are excited to present a vibrant lineup of cultural performances for Ugadi Utsavalu 2026, celebrating the Telugu New Year on April 25, 2026. To ensure a smooth, well coordinated, and memorable event for everyone, please review the guidelines below before registering your performance.

Participation Eligibility

Members participate FREE.

Members may participate in up to two (2) performances.

Non-members must purchase regular event ticket to participate.
General Participation Rules

Dance performances may feature songs in multiple languages; however, each performance must include at least one Telugu song to reflect the spirit of our cultural celebration.

Group performances must have a minimum of four (4) participants. There is no maximum limit.

Each member participant may take part in up to two (2) performances.

Each non-member participant may take part in only one (1) performance.

There is no limit on the number of performances a choreographer may choreograph.

To ensure adherence to the event timeline, all performance slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The order of performances on the day of the event will be scheduled at the organizers’ discretion to ensure a balanced and seamless program flow.

Maximum of three (3) skits are allowed. Slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Performance Time Limits

Performances must not exceed the time limit allotted for each category

Group Dance / Solo Performances / Instrumental / Acapella: 5 to 7 minutes (must not exceed 7 minutes)

Musical: Limited to ten (10) minutes

Skits: Twenty (20) to Thirty (30) minutes (including setup and teardown; must not exceed 30 minutes)

Performance Requirements

All skits involving dialogue must use pre-recorded audio. Live dialogue delivery will not be permitted.

Choreographers are encouraged to creatively introduce their teams before their performance (via audio, video, or live voice-over). If preferred, the emcees can handle introductions upon request.
